Devil May Cry 3's new Style Change system "allows you to experience the action through unique Styles"
Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition will feature a new “style change” system.
As spotted by our pals at VGC earlier this week, producer Matt Walker posted an update video on Tuesday in which he teased Capcom was “motivated” to “add a little something extra” to the game when it debuts on Nintendo’s handheld system next month.
“We know that this game holds a very special place in all of your hearts and so we wanted to show our appreciation,” Walker said on Twitter. “I guess you could say that we’re feeling a little to add a little something extra that we think you’re all really going to like.”
While he didn’t confirm what, exactly, was coming, fans have spotted an intriguing snippet on the Devil May Cry 3 listing on the Nintendo website.
“Will you prioritise speed or defense? Swordsmanship or gunplay?” asks the teaser on the Nintendo mini-site. “The new Style Change system allows you to experience the action through a number of unique Styles allowing for unprecedented variety. Level up the Styles and weapons as you see fit and create a playstyle all your own.”
